THE ROLE

Polygon Productions is a pioneering tech-startup on a mission to revolutionize the live event experience through immersive sound and art.

We are looking for a Fluid Dynamics Engineer to manage a pilot project to modify our scent dispersion system.  This is a project based role, where you will be responsible for developing a system that can blend up to 50 scents, integrate with a smoke machine, and distribute the scented smoke through 12 controllable outputs.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated engineer based in Thailand and willing to travel to Chang Mai where our CTO is based for project development meetings.

If you are an mechanical or electrical engineer with an interest in fluid dynamics we’d love to hear from you!  The target project length is up to 2 months, with flexibility for you to work around your existing schedule.

We are looking for a mechanical engineer to help us modify our single source scent dispersion system into a system capable of mixing up to 50 scents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop or modify the client’s existing designs for a 50 channel scent system into a workable prototype.

  • Develop an electronic control system for scent selection, blending, and output point activation

  • Select and source appropriate materials and components, including scent containers, solenoid valves, peristaltic pumps, and insulated double-wall stainless steel piping

  • Collaborate with the team to assemble, test, and troubleshoot the system

  • Install and calibrate the scent distribution system at the client's site

  • Train the client on how to operate and maintain the system effectively
